Ingredients: 

1oz/28g butter

1 tablespoon milk

1tablespoon soft brown sugar

2 teaspoons black treacle or golden syrup (or, perhaps maple syrup)

4oz/112g icing sugar

Method: 
  1. Melt the butter, milk, brown sugar, and treacle together in the microwave, or gentle in a saucepan until the brown sugar has dissolved
  2. Sift the icing sugar and beat it in
  3. Allow to cool to a beautiful fudge-like consistancy.

Easy huh?

Spread while warm (or give a quick zap in the microwave to warm back up).

Be very careful - hot sugar can easily burn so no tasting until you're sure it's cooled down!
