Ingredients:
450g/1lb minced beef
8 eggs
90g/3oz ground oats (or rolled oats if that's what you've got)
crushed dog biscuits to decorate (multi-colour if you have them!)
Yoghurt or cream cheese (for icing)
Method:
- Mix the beef, eggs and oats together, and spoon into greased baking tray
- Bake for 25-35 minutes (ensure meat is cooked through) - it'll start to pull away from the sides of the tin.
- Leave to cool for 10 minutes or so, then turn out onto the serving plate
- Coat the top and sides of the cake with the yoghurt/cheese (or your dog's favourite sticky substitute)
- Crush the dog biscuits (liquidizer does this well) and sprinkle over top/press onto the sides.
This is a meat-based cake, so make sure that you keep it refrigerated once it has cooled
