This cake will keep in a sealed container for about 3 days, it's light and spongy and absolutely beautiful.

If you don't like coconut flavours, skip the pandan flavouring, and use corn oil or similar rather than coconut oil. You could always add lemon or orange flavouring instead and turn it into lemon chiffon or orange chiffon cake.

 


Dogs can pretty much eat human food without too much trouble. BUT NOT CHOCOLATE. You will make your dog sick if you feed it chocolate. Luckily, there are lots of chocolate style products made especially for dogs which you can substitute. If you're dead set on sharing your pet's birthday cake, you might also want to consider carob - a chocolate substitute that both of you can eat.
